Nothing exists in isolation. I like finding the connections.
Most of my work is about the moment a person and a system have to understand each other. The rest of it is loud.

Teaching people to work with AI
I started in data annotation, response ranking and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF). I went on to lead training and process for people demonstrating computer tasks to AI models.
The part I enjoyed most was explaining a difficult idea until someone could use it. A rule that looked clear on paper could become ambiguous in a real task. I worked through those cases with people and built training around what they found difficult.
ThinkaloudSince 2026
Turning it around
Thinkaloud turns the AI you already use into a thinking partner. It explains its reasoning as it goes and checks with you before any decision that is yours to make. It’s open source, and anyone can pick it up.
It grew out of what I used to teach: people making their reasoning visible so an AI could learn from it. Thinkaloud asks the same of the AI. It holds its own work to the ten habits from my essay, and tells you when it slips on one.
Lagbe NakiSince 2025
A business of my own
I co-founded Lagbe Naki to help people in Bangladesh get products from abroad that they can’t buy at home. We find a reliable source, confirm the purchase with the customer and arrange delivery to Bangladesh.
I built the app our orders run through, from the first enquiry to a confirmed profit. Every quote still goes past one of us before it reaches a customer, because a product page can understate the size of the box it ships in.
What I’m after
I want more people to bring difficult problems to AI and be able to judge what comes back: what they can use, what needs checking and when to question it.
I built Thinkaloud to put that idea into practice. Next, I want to work with teams bringing AI into their operations, helping them use it and evaluate its work. Through graduate research, I want to study what helps people make those judgments, including people whose needs technology often overlooks.

Beyond the screen
In 2015, I volunteered with InclusionX, teaching children with Down syndrome to use a computer. It changed what I thought technology was for. The machine was clever, but it wasn’t built for every kind of mind. I’ve wanted to build for those minds since, and I intend to work for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
I also rescue animals. With people in my community, I help shelter and treat stray cats and dogs, and one day I want to build them a shelter of their own.
